An experienced music facilitator, Kirsty enjoys building community through music, bringing connection, expression and joy to a wide range of people. Her experience is varied, from singing groups, to music and wellbeing with young people, to cross-arts collaboration.

 

For two years, Kirsty worked with community dance artists at Northern Ballet on Rise and Shine, delivering a tailored programme of collaborative dance and music to young people with profound disabilities. The project provided often isolated young people with agency and greater means to express themselves, culminating in a performance shared with family and friends.
