I offer lessons on the piano, flute, whistle and Irish flute. I have been teaching music lessons in Sheffield for over 10 years, and now teach from my home in Walkley. I believe that learning should be fun and love to inspire people to explore their instruments and take joy in doing so. I value approaching teaching in a variety of different ways, playing by ear, reading notation, improvising and composing, helping my students to be versatile and flexible musicians.
Lessons are guided by the student, teaching them genres and music of their choosing. I am experienced in taking people through exams if they choose to do so, and actively encourage people to expand their musical experiences by playing with others.
