Kirsty is an experienced musician, music therapist and educator with a passion for enhancing people’s lives through music.
Having originally trained as a classical pianist, Kirsty is a multi-instrumentalist who uses voice, guitar and percussion in community and music therapy work. She is also an accomplished whistle and Irish flute player, touring regularly with the folk trio Auka.
Kirsty is trained as a music therapist in the Nordoff & Robbins approach and has been providing music therapy across Sheffield since 2021. She now works as a freelance music therapist, instrumental teacher, performer and community musician, supporting both children and adults.
